Hailed as the “Knight of the Lute”, Matthew Wadsworth draws sumptuous sounds from his lute and theorbo as he journeys from the sunny landscapes of Vivaldi to the melancholic solitude of Dowland. He joins soprano Elizabeth Coupe, Baroque violinist Gary Ngan and members of CCOHK on period instruments for a ravishing evening of early music presented in the hushed, candlelight surroundings of St. Stephen’s Chapel.
