City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong will provide live accompaniment in 9 performances of Hong Kong Ballet’s Giselle under the baton of Fayçal Karoui.

South African ballet artist Charla Genn and Hong Kong Ballet Artistic Director Septime Webre breathe new life into this poignant story of a carefree peasant girl who falls in love with a flirtatious nobleman in disguise. This seemingly harmless deception leads to heartbreak, and supernatural drama ensues. With lush new sets and costumes and an ethereal score, Giselle’s unearthly beauty and idyllic charm will keep audiences spellbound.
