Robert Reimer

Robert Reimer is one of the most versatile conductors of his generation and has performed a wide-ranging repertoire from opera to ballet and baroque to contemporary music. In 2021 he gave a successful debut with the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna State Ballet in Europe and with Hong Kong Ballet and City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong in Hong Kong. He is active as a guest conductor at major opera houses around the world including The Bavarian State Opera, Berlin State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Stuttgart Opera, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Liceu Opera Barcelona, Finnish National Opera, The Royal Danish Opera and at the Copenhagen Opera Festival. Since 2013 he has appeared regularly in digital and radio recordings and television productions in Europe. His successful CD production of Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava led to his appointment as Artistic Director of the Claude Heater Foundation in San Francisco. On the concert stage Robert Reimer has conducted the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Copenhagen Philharmonic, Copenhagen Royal Chapel, Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, Frankfurt Radio Symphony, Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, Tonkünstler Orchestra, Basel Sinfonietta and the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava among others.
