Grace Hoop is a hoop artist whose work is a form of free movement that discovers the body's freedom and consciousness. Her artistry spans several fields including modern juggling, multimedia theatre, choreography and arts education. Her performances have been featured at the Croatian Hoop Convention, Tai Kwun, HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity, West Kowloon Cultural District, Vuesch Circus Club, Hamburg Juggling Convention and Clockenflap. During the covid pandemic era she collaborated with artists worldwide and presented online performances at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club in New York. She has worked as a choreographer for Zuni Icosahedron and the OrleanLaiproject in Hong Kong and as a co-choreographer with Yoshiko Chuma at Dock 11 Berlin. Grace has given hoop dance instruction at The University of Hong Kong and Lingnan University. She is often involved in curating and coordinating arts and community projects in Hong Kong.
