Chris Cheung


Chris Cheung was born in Hong Kong and graduated from Temple University and the Manhattan School of Music with a Master of Music degree. He has appeared in numerous festival performances in Asia, Europe and the USA including the Pacific Music Festival in Japan, the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival in Germany and the Chautauqua Music Festival in New York. He also performed as a member of the Asian Youth Orchestra in Hong Kong. From 1995 to 1997 he was appointed tutti violist of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi in Italy where he worked under the baton of Maestro Alun Francis. On return to Hong Kong he taught viola at various schools and studios including the Hong Kong Music Office. Chris Cheung has been a member of City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong since 2002. He is also Director of the Hong Kong Music Education and conductor of the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of Hong Kong.



張經紹生於香港,畢業於美國鄧普大學及曼克頓音樂學院,並獲取音樂碩士及學士學位。修業期間曾積極參與各個著名國際音樂節,如日本太平洋音樂節、德國海斯坦音樂節 、美國莎塔娃音樂節及亞洲青年交響樂團。其後,在1995至1997年期間於義大利米蘭交響樂團擔任中提琴手。張經紹在1997年回港後任職於音樂事務處及其他音樂教育機構外,亦於2002年加入香港城市室樂團,他為香港音樂教育中心總監,亦擔任香港青少年管弦樂團。
