Born and raised in Australia, Marc Ngan graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts. He then moved to Hong Kong and graduated from the Excel course at The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts (HKAPA) with a BTEC Level 5 Higher National Certificate in Performing Arts (Musical Theatre), receiving a special award for the most outstanding student. In 2017 he won ‘Best Actor’ at the Hong Kong English Language Drama Awards for his performance as himself in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged by Aurora Theatre. His other acting roles include Croupier in Lies (Ontroerend Goed), Fruit Peddler in Golden Lotus the Musical (World Premier) and Paul in Teresa - The Musical (Perry Chiu Experimental Theatre). Marc Ngan currently works in the performing arts industry in Hong Kong as a performer, educator and content creator. He is also highly sought-after as an emcee, a corporate coach and as a drama tutor. He has collaborated as a performer for several local theatre companies, for The Hong Kong Arts Festival and Opera Hong Kong, among others.
