Stephanie Bina was born in Eden Prairie, Minnesota where she began her music studies on violin and piano. She graduated from St. Olaf College in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music and was a member of the nationally acclaimed St. Olaf Orchestra for four years. During her college years she was invited to perform as a guest artist at St. Louis Park High School and performed Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue on piano and Vivaldi's Four Seasons on violin. Before moving to Hong Kong in 2005 she was a member of the Manitou String Quartet and the Kenwood Symphony Orchestra of Minneapolis in Minnesota. She also performed with the St. Andrew's Orchestra and was active as a freelance musician throughout the Twin Cities area. Stephanie has been a member of the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong since 2006.
