TONG WAI-HO Tong Wai-ho began his cello studies at the Music Office at the age of seven. He obtained his Dip ABRSM from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in 2003. In 2002 he commenced his studies at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with Monica Su and Professor Ray Wang and received his Bachelor of Music Degree in 2007. During his studies he was the recipient of many scholarships including the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship and the Esson Mobil Scholarship. Tong Wai-ho has performed as principal cellist of the Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong. He joined the cello section of the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong in 2008.
