Chris
Cheung King-siu
graduated from Temple University and the Manhattan School of Music with
a Masters Degree in Music. He has appeared in numerous festival performances
in Asia, Europe and the USA including the Pacific Music Festival in Japan,
the Schleswig Holestein Music Festival in Germany, the Chautauqua Music
Festival in New York and as a member of the Asian Youth Orchestra in Hong
Kong. From 1995 to 97 he was engaged as a member of the Sinfonica di Milano,
Giuseppe Verdi in Italy where he worked under the baton of Maestro Alun
Francis. After his return to Hong Kong, he taught viola with the Hong
Kong Music Office. Chris is currently the Director of the Hong Kong Music
Education and has been a member of the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong
Kong since 2002.
